This series of posters is dedicated to the war unleashed by russia in Ukraine in February 2022. The war continues, and our time is filled with rage, anger, and hope. In this project, I share my feelings and visual reflections on everything I love and what is now in danger.
When everything falls apart, it’s extremely important to take care of yourself.
I guess, everybody heard the phrase: put your life vest on first, then — help anyone else you’re with. But no one told us that it’s so hard to follow this rule during the war when it’s nearly impossible to feel yourself and remember who you are, not to mention take care of yourself.
The deep connection to your home and your land can come quite unexpectedly. You can call yourself a cosmopolitan as many times, as you’d like to. But when someone comes to ruin your house, you quickly recollect in your memory that this particular house is yours.
The colors of the Flag of Ukraine have recently become the most known color combination all over the world. Now, Ukrainians are united just like never before. We’re fighting the darkness that tries to absorb us. And, at the same time, we create new things and meanings, fighting for our future.
